“In French, a calèche is a horse-drawn carriage, the very essence of Classicism. Seduction through the being’s own beauty.” Jean-Claude Ellena.
Created by Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche was the brand’s first perfume for women. It’s a very feminine, woody, chypre floral scent, whose name, in French, evokes the iconic chariot of the Greek God Hermes. Calèche’s beautiful ingredients tell a story, one of zesty citrus fruits, modern aldehyde notes, with a sumptuous floral core made up of ylang-ylang, rose, and jasmine, leaving a woody, chypre trail highlighted with sophisticated iris.
Soie de parfum, woody and generous.
